Born in a tiny town bordering Canada only five minutes from the legendary falls, Nicole says she had an eye for beauty at a young age, and that included poetry. Nicole D’Settēmi is a 36-year-old creative writer, poet, and visual artist from Niagara Falls, New York.

    It’s going to have a lot of twists, and plot turns, too. It revolves around the narrators story of a triangle of lovers who are all severely emotionally disturbed, dysfunctional and delusional, and how all of their thinking patterns differ from what they believe to be true about each other, as well as others in their lives, period. The Diary of Anais Nin, Invisible Monsters, White Oleander, Crime and Punishment, Tropic of Cancer, Paint it Black, Henry & June, Incest, Junky, Naked Lunch, Ariel, and many, many more.Īnother literary fiction/fictional memoir novel named Narcssitopia. What authors, or books have influenced you? I use life experience to reflect upon in my journals, which then are used for my novels. I highlight and cut many passages, and my entire thesaurus is highlighted. I write everywhere, and stick post-its all over my things. It is about love, and trust, and pain, and anguish, it is a psychological revelation in many ways–and it shines a stark light on why addicts us in the first place.
